With 1.1 million acres of serene beauty, this treasure trove of pine plains, wetlands, and more is the largest Atlantic coastal pine barrens in existence, and we are going to explore several locations – all within proximity of one another.
Experience nature like you never have before with us as we journey through the Pinelands to capture sunset, and so much more.

Tis the season to be jolly and Jersey Girls Photo Adventures (JGPA) has just the Adventure to spark those good tidings.
Our final photography Adventure of 2021 takes us to the quaint little town with a rich history, known as Haddonfield. One of West Jersey’s oldest communities, Haddonfield is known for its beautiful Victorian-style homes and for the discovery of the first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton.
This time of year, its tree-lined downtown includes 200+ shops and restaurants dressed in their holiday best to create a winter wonderland.
Join us Sunday, December 19 at 5:30 pm for a Holiday Photo Walk Adventure to remember. Who knows what your eye and imagination may discover as you stroll this scenic town.

We are making our expansion into Ocean County official with a November Waxing Moonrise Photo Adventure led by our newest Co-Leader, Shiela Evans.
Join us in Seaside, Sunday, November 14 at 1:30 p.m. as we venture out onto the boardwalk to capture stunning images of a midday moon.
During the Adventure, we will be giving away a $15 voucher that you can use towards a future Adventure. We will also be having hot tea and a treat for everyone.
Have your shutters ready, the moon travels at 2,288 mph.

This month we are meeting up for the moonrise of the "Super Pink Moon" over the Pinelands in Chatsworth. While we are hiking out to a scenic location for moonrise we will be making a couple of stops at two of the "mysterious" and "infamous" "blue holes" of New Jersey.

November’s full moon is most commonly known as the Beaver Moon, in honor of these industrious semi-aquatic rodents.
Because November also signals the time when bitter hard frost’s become more frequent, this month’s moon is also sometimes called the Frost Moon.

This full Moon will fall on Halloween night, something that hasn’t happened since 1944, making it a super fun rare treat. And because it’s the second full Moon in the month, it also earns the moniker of “Blue Moon” (one of two definitions). That makes this full Moon a mouthful: a rare Halloween Hunter’s Blue Moon!
